Caitlin Clark\u00a0<\/strong>had an emotional post to mark the end of her college basketball career, following the Iowa Hawkeyes\u2019 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday, April 7. After her final game for the women\u2019s national NCAA tournament, the point guard, 22, shared a photo of her uniform and sneakers, while showing love to her college team.<\/p>\n The photo showed the black and yellow uniform with her name and number (22) embroidered on the back. She also showed off her matching black and yellow sneakers. The guard is expected to head to the WNBA, and the draft is on April 15.<\/p>\n Following the loss, Caitlin admitted that she was looking to the future. \u201cI don\u2019t have much time to sit around and sulk and be upset. I don\u2019t think that\u2019s what I\u2019m about either,\u201d she said, per\u00a0CNN<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>\u201cYeah, I\u2019m sad we lost this game, but I\u2019m also so proud of myself, I\u2019m so proud of my teammates, I\u2019m so proud of this program. There\u2019s a lot to be proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n While she was \u201cproud\u201d of the hard work they put in, Caitlin did admit that hanging up the Iowa jersey was going to be sad for her. \u201cThere\u2019s going to be tears. It is sad this is all over, and this is the last time I\u2019m going to put on an Iowa jersey,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Even though Iowa came up short, Caitlin still captivated basketball fans across the globe, including getting the attention of the biggest star in the NBA. During the game,\u00a0LeBron James\u00a0<\/strong>shouted out the point guard\u2019s excellence in a post on X<\/a>. \u201cIf you don\u2019t rock with Caitlin Clark game you\u2019re just a FLAT OUT HATER!!!!!
