Gear up for an adventure on the next free National Parks Day!<\/em><\/p>\n Looking for something to do with the kiddos? You\u2019re in luck! The National Park Service<\/a> is offering a FREE entrance day to U.S. National Parks on Saturday, April 20th<\/strong> in celebration of the first day of National Park Week<\/a>\u2013 no special park pass needed!<\/p>\n This free entrance pass provides a great opportunity to visit a park that normally charges an entrance fee like Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and more. You can check out the full list of participating sites here<\/a>. There are\u00a0over 400 National Parks in the United States!<\/p>\n Can\u2019t make it in April? You\u2019ll have four other chances to take advantage of this offer\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n Veterans and Gold Star Families will receive a FREE Interagency Military Lifetime Pass<\/a> to national parks, wildlife refuges, and other Federal lands managed by the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers!<\/p>\n Active-duty members of the US Military and their dependents also qualify for a free annual pass to many of these attractions. Plus, entrance fees and standard amenity recreation fees will also be waived for Active Military, Veterans, and Gold Star Families!<\/p>\n For the purposes of this program, a Veteran is defined as an individual who served in the US Armed Forces (including the National Guard and Reserves).
