Diddy\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>ex-girlfriend\u00a0Cassie Ventura<\/strong> <\/a>is cooperating with federal law enforcement as part of the investigation into the rapper<\/a> by Homeland Security, according to a report by\u00a0TMZ\u00a0<\/em>on Wednesday, April 3. Other people who have filed lawsuits against Diddy are also reportedly speaking with the feds are part of the probe. It\u2019s not clear what information the \u201cMe & U\u201d singer, 37, has told the feds about her ex, 54.<\/p>\n

An insider told the outlet that Cassie is one of the witnesses that federal investigators<\/a> have been speaking to as part of the look into Diddy. She\u2019s been cooperating with them for weeks, according to TMZ<\/em><\/a>. While there are reportedly other women working with the feds, it\u2019s not clear who else has been cooperating as part of the investigation.<\/p>\n

Cassie dated Diddy off and on from 2007 to 2018. She filed a lawsuit<\/a> against Diddy back in November 2023. She accused the Bad Boy Records executive of rape and sexual abuse, as well as sex trafficking. \u201cAfter years in silence and darkness I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,\u201d she said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Though Diddy denied the allegations, he settled with her<\/a> just one day after she filed the lawsuit. \u201cWe have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,\u201d he said in a statement. Despite settling with his ex, new allegations surfaced when another lawsuit was filed against him, also accusing him of rape. The rapper denied the allegations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Diddy\u2019s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided on Monday, March 25. The following day, his attorney\u00a0\u00a0Aaron Dyer\u00a0<\/strong>released a statement<\/a>. \u201cThere is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,\u201d he said. \u201cThis unprecedented ambush\u2014paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence\u2014leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
