One week after Rebel Wilson<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s empowering revelation about her virginity<\/a> came to light, the 44-year-old Australian actress revealed who she did the deed with for the first time: an actor from her film How to Be Single<\/em>. She detailed the intimate moments between her and actor Mickey Gooch Jr<\/strong>. in her newly released memoir, Rebel Rising<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a recent interview with The New York Times<\/em><\/a>, Rebel pointed out that Mickey \u201cwas the first person to read\u201d her book, \u201cso he knows now [that he was her first].\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes I lost my virginity to you,\u201d Rebel wrote in her book, describing Mickey as \u201cchiseled\u201d and \u201csexy.\u201d The Pitch Perfect<\/em> star also wrote that she loves his name \u201cbecause of loving Mickey Mouse and all things perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in her memoir, Rebel explained why she chose to sleep with Mickey at the time, noting that life \u201cis short,\u201d and she wanted to take the opportunity while she could.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love,\u201d she wrote in the chapter titled \u201cLate Bloomer,\u201d per Daily Mail.<\/em><\/a> \u201cI put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it. I was going to slut it up with the next guy that came along \u2014 who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate.\u201d<\/p>\n

After she and Mickey had sex, Rebel recalled wanting to be with him \u201call the time,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019d imagine having sex and being intimate and everything would always be in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a late starter, and now I want to be MVP,\u201d she quipped. \u201cNow, I\u2019m someone who lives much more in my body. And I\u2019m loving it. Now I actually have a boyfriend, and he\u2019s handsome and rich to boot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mickey and Rebel ended up dating for six months until their romance ran its course.<\/p>\n

Last week, Rebel\u2019s book made headlines after multiple outlets obtained excerpts from the memoir. Fans praised the actress for revealing that she waited to lose her virginity until her 30s.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager,\u201d she wrote in the book. \u201cPeople can wait till they\u2019re ready or wait till they\u2019re a bit more mature. And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don\u2019t have to wait until you\u2019re in your 30s like me, but you shouldn\u2019t feel pressure as a young person.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
