It is in fact working on the Redmi 13 (sans “Note”), a lower-end model compared to the Notes.

The Redmi 13 has been certified by the FCC and it’s also been spotted in an IMEI database. It will run HyperOS 1.0 out of the box, with Android 14 underneath.

Redmi 12

The phone will come with a 5,000 mAh battery, that will charge at up to 33W. The battery has been certified with a rated capacity of 4,930 mAh, which should turn into a marketed “typical” capacity of 5,000 mAh.

No other specs have been revealed through the certification process, but we do know the model number: 24049RN28L, which is an odd one because it doesn’t end in “C” (for China), “G” (for global markets), or “I” (for India) as Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco model numbers usually do. So for now it’s still unclear where exactly it will launch. However, given the FCC certification, it’s pretty much a given that it won’t be confined to China.

The Redmi 13 will be the successor to the Redmi 12, which was released in June last year. It came with a 6.79-inch 90 Hz LCD display, the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, 2/4/6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a 50 MP main rear camera flanked by an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.

Via

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Redmi’s Note 13 series is pretty expansive, comprising of no less than seven devices, but the Xiaomi sub-brand isn’t done with the number 13,

[165
