And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don\u2019t have to wait until you\u2019re in your 30s like me, but you shouldn\u2019t feel pressure as a young person.\u201d<\/p>\nThe How to Be Single<\/em> actress revealed that her upcoming book mentions the virginity revelation. She also recalled a moment talking to a friend about when she did the deed.<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n\u201cThere was one vague time, I think I told my best friend, \u2018Oh, yeah, I just did it\u2019 to just get it over with when I was like 23,\u2019\u201d Rebel said before adding, \u201cJust to really avoid the questions. And then, the people that said, \u2018Oh, at 24, it\u2019s so late.\u2019 And then, I\u2019m sitting here thinking, \u2018Oh my god, my number\u2019s 35. What the hell? I\u2019m going to look like the biggest loser.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although she referred to herself as a \u201clate bloomer\u201d to the publication, Rebel pointed out that exploring her sexuality would have been \u201cvery different\u201d if she was born 20 years later.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s absolutely incredible; if I had been born 20 years later, I probably would\u2019ve explored my sexuality more,\u201d the Australia native acknowledged. \u201cI just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing. And so, when I started opening myself up probably more after my father\u2019s death and realizing, oh, even though I\u2019d seen marriage as a terrible thing and waste of time, I started opening myself up to that. And then, only years later, meeting women and having feelings for a woman, and that, I just think it\u2019s a sign of where society kind of was.\u201d<\/p>\n
In June 2022, Rebel and her fianc\u00e9e, Ramona Agruma<\/strong><\/a>, went public with their relationship. Later that year, they welcomed their child, Royce Lillian, via surrogate. As an avid Disney fan, Rebel revealed their romance<\/a> to fans by sharing an Instagram post that was captioned, \u201cI thought I was searching for a Disney Prince \u2026 but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.\u201d<\/p>\nRebel\u2019s memoir, Rebel Rising<\/em>, hits shelves on Tuesday, April 2.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
