I\u2019ve tried many book lights, and none were very good. This one is the exception. The battery lasts forever, the different light colors are good for when you want to read before bed, the construction is solid, it works on all types of books, the pivoting light is wonderful, and the price is very fair. My only complaint is that I wish it dimmed a little more than it does. As-is, I have to shield it from my partner, or the light bothers her when she is sleeping.
