After having initially brought the Circle to Search feature<\/a> to the Pixel 8<\/a> and Pixel 8 Pro<\/a>, Google then made it available<\/a> for the Pixel 7<\/a> and Pixel 7 Pro<\/a>. After that, we were left guessing as to when it would reach older Pixels, but we’re guessing no more.<\/p>\n

Today Google has announced that Circle to Search is headed to the Pixel 6<\/a>, Pixel 6 Pro<\/a>, Pixel 6a<\/a>, and Pixel 7a<\/a> later this week. It’s also “coming soon” to the Pixel Fold<\/a> and Pixel Tablet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear if even older Pixels will ever get Circle to Search. Google has also revealed that the feature will get translation support in the near future. This will translate the contents on screen. Once you’ve invoked Circle to Search, just tap on the new translate icon in order to use this new functionality, when it has become available.<\/p>\n

Samsung will start rolling out<\/a> the update to One UI 6.1, which includes Circle to Search, to the Galaxy S23 series<\/a> (including the S23 FE<\/a>), Galaxy Z Fold5<\/a> and Flip5<\/a>, and Galaxy Tab S9 family<\/a> tomorrow.<\/p>\n
