We’ve had our first meeting<\/a> with the Realme 12+ 5G<\/a>, but it’s now time for it to get the review treatment.<\/p>\n

Let’s recap the box contents first. The phone comes with a silicone case, a 67W charger, a SIM tool, and a cable. We’d call that a thorough retail package.<\/p>\n

Realme offers the 12+ in two colors – Pioneer Green, which we’ve seen before and would call more of a turquoise or teal, and a Navigator Beige. Both feature a faux leather back (silicone polymer, if you want to get technical), which won’t be to everyone’s taste, but we attest that it’s superior for grip and handling.<\/p>\n

While just as grippy, the glossy side rail gets smudgy and greasy after about 10 munites out of the box, which isn’t ideal.<\/p>\n

We’ve talked about the Realme 12+’s specs in detail several times now, so we’re not going to recap them again in detail. Suffice it to say that it’s one of the better-specced midrangers in its class \u2014 a big 6.67-inch 120Hz-ready AMOLED – check. An efficient 6nm Dimensity 7050 chipset – check, big 5,000mAh battery – check. Throw in some niceties like IP54 splash resistance and stereo speakers, and Android 14 out of the box and there’s nothing anything to complain about.<\/p>\n

The Realme 12+ is available in multiple markets, including India, where it starts at INR20,999 ($255\/\u20ac230). Stay tuned for our review, which will try and find out if it’s worth it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
