A remarkable show at Strat, Banachek\u2019s \u201cMind Games Live,\u201d is ending its run at The Strat.<\/p>\n
The show closes on March 30, 2024, after more than 600 performances.<\/p>\n
Which means there\u2019s still a little time to see it, which you absolutely should, and we tend to hate everything.<\/p>\n Banachek (nee Steven Shaw) is a mentalist who doesn\u2019t believe in mind reading. (Because psychic ability doesn\u2019t actually exist.)<\/p>\n The entire 70-minute show consists of doing things that are completely impossible. Here\u2019s our review<\/a>.<\/p>\n No reason was given for the show\u2019s closure, but wildly profitable shows don\u2019t tend to close in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n We\u2019re adding \u201cMind Games Live\u201d to our list of underrated Strat shows that, following news they\u2019ll close, cause us to weep openly. See also \u201cXavier Mortimer: The Dream Maker.\u201d Mortimer\u2019s show has yet to reopen in a new venue, despite teases that could happen. More sad trombonery here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Strat\u2019s dwindling entertainment line-up includes the sexy but occasionally disturbing \u201cRouge,\u201d \u201ciLuminate\u201d (people dancing in LED suits) and the L.A.
