Jeff Lynne\u2019s ELO<\/a>, the modern incarnation of Jeff Lynne<\/a> and his band Electric Light Orchestra<\/a>, have announced a farewell tour. Dubbed The Over and Out Tour, the shows will take place across North America this fall, beginning on August 24 in Palm Desert, California and lasting on through to October 25 when the band will conclude their goodbye run in Los Angeles. See the complete list of tour dates below.<\/p>\n Electric Light Orchestra spent their original run releasing beloved<\/a> pop-rock and prog records in the \u201970s and \u201980s before disbanding in 1986. Jeff Lynne went on to record two solo albums of his own, 1990\u2019s Armchair Theatre<\/em> and 2012\u2019s Long Wave<\/em>, before reforming the group under the moniker Jeff Lynne\u2019s ELO in 2014.
