Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/strong><\/a> loves her dad, Lenny Kravitz<\/strong><\/a>, but she isn\u2019t afraid to roast him once in a while. While honoring the \u201cAmerican Woman\u201d rocker, 59, for receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame<\/a> on Tuesday, March 12, the Batman<\/em> actress, 35, poked fun at Lenny\u2019s relationship history<\/a> by comparing it to his see-through shirts.<\/p>\n

\u201cLenny Kravitz. I\u2019ve had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time,\u201d Zo\u00eb began while Lenny stood beside her at the podium. \u201cAnd I must say, being your daughter has been one of the great adventures of my life. Since you were so young when I was born, in many ways we\u2019ve grown up together. We\u2019ve been through a lot. We\u2019ve seen a lot. I\u2019ve seen a lot. I\u2019ve seen you change in the most beautiful ways. I\u2019ve seen the way you\u2019ve stayed the same in the most important ways. I\u2019ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I\u2019ve seen your incredible dedication to your art. But mostly I\u2019ve seen through your shirts.\u201d<\/p>\n

After briefly pausing for the audience to laugh, the Big Little Lies<\/em> alum continued, \u201cAccording to my dad, if it doesn\u2019t expose your nipples, it\u2019s not a shirt. And sure, it used to embarrass me when he picked me up from school as a kid, but I gotta say, at this point, I respect it. You really do pull it off.\u201d<\/p>\n

As she joked about Lenny\u2019s fashion choices, Zo\u00eb then quipped,\u00a0\u201cYour relationship with the netted shirt is probably your longest one, and it works. You two make each other better, and if it ain\u2019t broke, don\u2019t fix it. It\u2019s a beautiful thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with the crowd, Lenny \u2014 who was wearing an all-black outfit and Ray-Ban<\/a> Reverse Capsule Collection sunglasses \u2014 was seen laughing at his daughter\u2019s epic burn. Despite her jokes, though, Zo\u00eb pointed out that she learned a lot from the \u201cFly Away\u201d artist.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s cool about you is not what people think is cool about you,\u201d she concluded. \u201cYour radness doesn\u2019t come from your shades or leather pants or netted shirts. It comes from your true love of life. Life is your art. And that is why your music is so inspiring and important. You make people feel alive. You remind them of the only thing that matters: Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lenny\u2019s dating history has made headlines in the past, specifically for his former marriage to Zo\u00eb\u2019s mother, Lisa Bonet<\/strong><\/a>. Despite divorcing in 1993, the co-parents<\/a> have maintained a close family bond.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
