Ryan Gosling<\/strong><\/a> has his family<\/a> to thank for perfecting his iconic \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken\u201d Oscars performance<\/a>. In a new interview from SXSW, the Fall Guy<\/em> actor, 43, revealed that Eva Mendes<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and their daughters, Esmeralda and Amada<\/a>, gave him some \u201ctips\u201d on his Kenergy during rehearsal.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was great. It was so fun because they came to the dress rehearsal the day before, and so, they were in the front row,\u201d Ryan gushed during an interview with PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>, which was published on Wednesday, March 13. \u00a0\u201cThey gave me some tips and some notes, all great notes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Barbie<\/em><\/a> star then credited Eva, 50, and their children with motivating him to play the iconic doll Ken. Esmeralda is 9 years old, and Amada is now 7.<\/p>\n
