They\u2019re both in this together! Vanessa Hudgens<\/strong><\/a> is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Cole Tucker<\/strong><\/a>. The spouses \u2014 who tied the knot<\/a> in December 2023 \u2014 are going to be parents. Vanessa walked the red carpet<\/a> at the 2024 Oscars, debuting her growing baby bump in a black long-sleeved gown.<\/p>\n

The High School Musical<\/em> star, 35, and the baseball player, 27, started dating in 2020 after they met on a Zoom meditation group.<\/p>\n

Previously, Vanessa hadn\u2019t outwardly discussed the possibility of having children with Cole. However, she described her mindset on the subject during a September 2022 interview with NYLON<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always thought I would be married at 25, because that\u2019s when my mom got married, and then when that didn\u2019t happen, I was like, \u2018Oh, OK, So we\u2019re just going to shift everything back a bit,’\u201d the Disney Channel alum said. \u201cI always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don\u2019t feel panicked about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before she met her husband, Vanessa went through a bit of an existential crisis while she was in her 20s, she revealed to the publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cI woke up at 27 like, \u2018I have no idea who I am, what I want, or what I stand for,’\u201d the Tick, Tick \u2026 Boom!<\/em> star admitted. \u201cWhat are the things I actually don\u2019t like about myself? What are the things that I put on a mask for? I realized how much of myself I gave away to others, when I actually was giving away and turning off pieces of myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vanessa then acknowledged the past high-profile relationships she was in with Zac Efron<\/strong> and Austin Butler<\/strong>. Though she didn\u2019t mention the two actors by name, her long-term romances with the Greatest Showman<\/em> star and the Elvis<\/em> actor were highly publicized over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe public only sees so much,\u201d she acknowledged. \u201cI\u2019ve also been through two very long, life-changing relationships, and no one really knows what happened except for me.\u201d Vanessa then teased that she might release a book about her life in the future, adding, \u201cWhen I write my memoir, it\u2019ll be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for how she found clarity with herself, Vanessa pointed out that establishing \u201cboundaries\u201d with people comes with maturity and experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you get older, the sexier boundaries are,\u201d she said. \u201cYou either f**k with me or not; it\u2019s cool with me either way. But I f**k with myself, so that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
