In a statement, the camera giant, which has suffered along with most of the imaging industry in recent years, said RED will become a wholly-owned subsidiary, <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/3\/7\/24093109\/nikon-acquiring-red-cameras-film-motion-picture-tv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:as found by The Verge;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">as found by <em>The Verge<\/em><\/a>.
