Chicago artists Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart previously released music together under the name Ohmme<\/a>, and they\u2019ve now announced their first full-length as Finom<\/a>. The new album, Not God<\/em><\/a>, is out May 24 via Joyful Noise. Leading the LP is \u201cHaircut<\/a>,\u201d and it comes with a music video featuring the band a magician played by director Alex Grelle<\/a>. Watch it below.<\/p>\n Cunningham (who works for the company that helps produce Pitchfork Music Festival) and Stewart recorded Not God<\/em> with producer Jeff Tweedy at Wilco\u2019s Loft studio in Chicago. Discussing today\u2019s new song and video, the duo said in a press statement:<\/p>\n \u201cHaircut\u201d was written following the stream of suggested words from Macie\u2019s phone robot. Somehow this intelligence intuited that we wanted to say \u201cno\u201d more\u2014to control more of our own time. Alex Grelle, one of our favorite artists and collaborators, directed the video for us with a genius group of artists.
