To celebrate the Galaxy Ring having been showcased at MWC<\/a> in Barcelona last week (albeit behind glass), Samsung has created a new infographic that takes us through the entire history of its wearable devices, up to and including the Galaxy Ring itself.<\/p>\n As you can see, Samsung’s wearable journey started all the way back in 1999 with the SPH-WP10, the world’s first commercialized watch phone. The SPH-S100 that came one year after added text entry and voice dialing features, while 2003’s Watch Phone had a color OLED display.<\/p>\n Samsung didn’t get into Bluetooth headsets until 2005, and it has continued to refine its wrist-worn wearables in the past two and a half decades. The Galaxy Watch6 series is the culmination of all those efforts, along with the Galaxy Fit3<\/a> on the more affordable side, and in terms of earbuds, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro<\/a> are the reigning champs for the Korean company so far.<\/p>\n The Galaxy Ring has widely been rumored to get fully official at Samsung’s next Unpacked event<\/a>, which may be taking place in early to mid-July in Paris.
