Nickelodeon<\/a> has been the ultimate platform for kids since the 1990s. From its popular cartoon shows \u2014 a.k.a \u201cNicktoons\u201d \u2014 to its adult-oriented content on Nick At Nite, the studio became the most famous among teens for its Teen Nick series. Zoey 101,<\/a> Drake & Josh, iCarly<\/a>, Victorious<\/a>, The Amanda Bynes Show<\/em> and more were all created by Dan Schneider<\/strong>, who is the subject of Investigation Discovery\u2019s upcoming docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The documentary features several former Nickelodeon writers, actors and other crew members who have come forward with accusations against Schneider. Who Is Dan Schneider?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Schneider is a former producer and the creator of Nickelodeon\u2019s hit teen-oriented sitcoms and their spinoffs, such as Sam & Cat, <\/i>and classic films including Big Fat Liar<\/i> and Good Burger.<\/i> The Schneider\u2019s Bakery founder is also an actor and a screenwriter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is \u2018Quiet on Set\u2019 About?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The four-part series will unravel former employees\u2019 experiences working with Schneider. Among the most recognizable faces in the Quiet on Set <\/i>trailer<\/a> was Zoey 101<\/i> alum Alexa Nikolas.<\/b><\/a> She has spoken out about Schneider\u2019s alleged behavior in recent years. At one point in the ID teaser, the actress said, \u201cI\u2019ve been waiting 17 years for today.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another former employee, who was not named, added in the trailer, \u201cWorking for Dan was like being in an abusive relationship. Dan\u2019s treatment of people on his shows was an open secret.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a toxic environment. It made me trust people less,\u201d another added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
