Being a longtime user of colored pencils, I was a bit skeptical about buying Amazon Basics. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised to find that these pencils were of a quality similar to Prismacolors! Nice soft, thick leads with a beautiful pigment saturation!

First, they came wrapped so very well, better than some expensive pencils I have gotten. Well, when I started to try them out it was so smooth. They go down so well and smooth and blend so very well.
