Kelly Osbourne<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>revealed that she\u2019s in the process of changing her son\u00a0Sidney\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>last name after getting into a \u201chuge fight\u201d with her partner\u00a0Sid Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>on a recent episode of\u00a0The Osbournes\u00a0<\/em>podcast. The former\u00a0Fashion Police\u00a0<\/em>presenter revealed that she and the Slipknot turntablist had gotten into a debate over the decision to hyphenate their 15-month-old son\u2019s last name to include both of their last names.<\/p>\n

While chatting with her parents\u00a0Sharon<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong><\/a>, Kelly admitted that she and Sid had a big argument when it came to their son\u2019s last name. \u201cIt\u2019s the biggest fight me and my baby\u2019s father have ever, ever, ever had, and probably ever, ever, will was over naming our son,\u201d she said on the podcast<\/a>. \u201cI wanted our son to have both of our last names, and he wouldn\u2019t let me, and we had a huge fight. I feel that I was forced into doing something I didn\u2019t want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said that she had wanted Sid to have a \u201cdouble-barrelled last name,\u201d but that will change. She said that her beau comes from a \u201cvery traditional\u201d family, which made it hard. \u201cAfter lots of eye-opening conversations and some couples therapy, he has seen the light. We are going to legally change our son\u2019s name to have both of our last names,\u201d she told her parents.<\/p>\n

The reality star explained that while her son shares most of the same name with his father, she did take issue with not including her last name as well. \u201cI love Sid\u2019s name.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong. I love my baby\u2019s name. He is a Sidney,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t mind that he has his name Sid. I don\u2019t mind that they have the same middle name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly explained her reasoning for the decision further. \u201cWe both made our child, so they should have both of our last names,\u201d she said. \u201cNot one is more important than the other.\u201d She also explained why she took issue with not including it further. \u201cIt was more about pleasing his family than it was about pleasing me, and I\u2019m his partner,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Sharon agreed with her daughter that she felt it was appropriate to give him a hyphenated last name. \u201cIt\u2019s a very dated thing. It\u2019s a very, very dated mentality,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Kelly and Sid both welcomed their son<\/a> in late 2022. Since having Sidney, Kelly has shared tons of adorable<\/a> photos<\/a> of the baby boy<\/a> on her social media.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
