Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a>, 55, and\u00a0Mauricio Umansky<\/strong><\/a>, 53, have dominated headlines for their ongoing marital drama<\/a> and new details have been released. In a new February 25 teaser clip for Buying Beverly Hills<\/em>\u2018 upcoming season, the real estate mogul chatted with a friend and claimed that it was Kyle who wanted to take a break from their marriage<\/a>. \u201cShe wanted the separation,\u201d Mauricio said in regards to\u00a0The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>star.<\/p>\n

After the Bravo hubby claimed that his wife wanted space from him, his friend was seemingly concerned about the outcome of Mauricio\u2019s career. \u201cHow will this affect the business?\u201d his friend inquired during the same clip<\/a>. Later, the father of Kyle\u2019s children<\/a> addressed the \u201cconflict\u201d going on in his life during a speech with his colleagues<\/a>. \u201cThe Agency being a large family \u2014 just like every family \u2014 there\u2019s conflict,\u201d Mauricio said.<\/p>\n

At the start of the teaser trailer, Kyle and her estranged spouse<\/a> had a serious conversation behind closed doors. \u201cYou\u2019re so stressed,\u201d he told her. \u201cAnd the travel obviously affects \u2013 you know \u2013 us.\u201d The 55-year-old also addressed the split<\/a> during a conversation with her and Mauricio\u2019s daughters. \u201cWe wanted to have this conversation when we were all together\u2026 for obvious reasons,\u201d Kyle said to her family. Although the trailer didn\u2019t reveal everything that Kyle said, they did add her apology to her kids. \u201cI\u2019m really sorry you guys,\u201d she said seemingly somber.<\/p>\n

The latest details on their breakup comes less than one week after the Season 2 trailer<\/a> was released. In that video<\/a>, the proud father explained the \u201crules\u201d of the separation to his daughters<\/a>. \u201cShe [Kyle] said to me, \u2018listen. The rules are that, you know, you go out, you date, you do whatever it is that you wanna do,\u201d Mauricio said to his kids. \u201c\u2018I\u2019m not gonna be asking what you\u2019re doing. I don\u2019t want you to be asking me what I\u2019m doing. Like, we\u2019re separated.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Kyle caused a frenzy online after she attended a taping<\/a> of\u00a0Watch What Happens Live\u00a0<\/em>alongside her friend,\u00a0Morgan Wade<\/strong><\/a>, 29. The country singer and Mauricio\u2019s estranged wife sparked romance rumors<\/a> last summer, however, Kyle has confirmed that they\u2019re merely pals<\/a>. Despite her denials, Morgan cozied up to Kyle at the event and was spotted with her hand on Kyle\u2019s hip. Many fans took to the comments of a fan re-post<\/a> to react. \u201cYeah, that hip rub tho [sic],\u201d one fan tweeted<\/a>.
