Alex Rodriguez<\/strong><\/a>, 48, addressed some critics questioning the darker complexion he showed off at the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/strong> vs. Milwaukee Bucks<\/strong> game in Minneapolis, MN on Friday. The former professional baseball player took to TikTok to share a video in which he directly answered a comment that read, \u201cHe got really tan overnight\u201d along with a laughing emoji. He revealed he just got back from a vacation and reminded the commenter that he\u2019s Dominican.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlright everybody, I know that I\u2019m dark. But I am Dominican and I went on vacation, and I fell asleep in the sun,\u201d he said. \u201cSo everybody calm down,\u201d he continued, before saying in Spanish, \u201cTraquilito y suavecito, mi gente,\u201d which translates to \u201cQuiet and calm, my people.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the video, Alex included<\/a> a caption. \u201cEverybody calm down, it\u2019s just a tan,\u201d it read.<\/p>\n

Soon after the video went public on TikTok and Instagram, his followers were quick to comment with support. \u201cYou look amazing,\u201d Alex\u2019s girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro<\/strong><\/a>, wrote while another follower assured him he didn\u2019t have to explain his skin color. A third wrote, \u201cI hate you even had to post this\u201d and a fourth shared, \u201cIt looks good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Alex addressed the critics about his tan, he took to Instagram to share photos and video from the game he attended. One photo shows him sitting while posing and smiling with Jaclyn and Stephen A. Smith<\/strong>. He wore a black suit with a silver and black striped tie and black shoes while Jaclyn rocked an all white outfit that included a blazer, pants, and heels. \u201cGreat night having\u00a0@espn out in Minnesota, hopefully first night of many to come!\u201d Alex captioned the post.<\/p>\n

When Alex\u2019s not making headlines for his appearance, he\u2019s doing so for sharing cute moments with his kids, who he shares with ex Cynthia Scurtis<\/strong>. The doting dad attended his 19-year-old daughter Natasha<\/strong>\u2018s high school graduation<\/a> last year and shared cute snapshots from the event. His other daughter, Ella<\/strong>, 15, was also featured in the photos.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
