Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a>, 35, and her husband,\u00a0Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a>, 44, set the record straight about their marriage during a recent podcast episode. The\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>alum denied the recent rumors that her \u201clife\u201d is a \u201cpublicity stunt\u201d and admitted to marriage being difficult. \u201cI think that we will have to address some rumors \u2014 just a little bit. I\u2019m not going to go too hard on this because, you know, some people do deserve to have their privacy,\u201d Brittany said. \u201cBut I will say \u2014 marriage is hard and people go through ups and downs all the time and it\u2019s completely normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the February 22 episode of their When Reality Hits<\/em><\/a> podcast, the 35-year-old also revealed that often times, couples need \u201cspace\u201d from each other. \u201cSometimes people might need their space [and] sometimes they won\u2019t,\u201d she went on. Jax\u2019s wife also accused \u201cthe media\u201d of misconstruing information about her relationship. \u201cI just think that the media takes things and runs with it without knowing the true facts,\u201d Brittany said.
