They\u2019re so tasty and I always find myself wanting more of them! Enter this copycat beef and cheddar slider recipe. It has all of the meaty, cheesy goodness you crave and is so easy to make in bulk!<\/p>\n<p>Ever since I tried making these sliders from scratch, my kids have been asking for them nonstop. Good thing they\u2019re so easy to throw together! Honestly, the hardest part is trying to snag a few for myself before my kids devour them all. They\u2019re that good!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ingredient-list\">Ingredient List<\/h2>\n<p>Grab these ingredients and get ready to make some seriously delicious beef and cheddar sliders. Trust me, they\u2019ll be a bit wherever they go and are even better than the real thing! Note: exact measurements are in the recipe card below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/hawaiian-sweet-rolls\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Hawaiian Rolls<\/a>:<\/strong> These sweet, soft rolls will be your slider base. Cut them in half before assembly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arby\u2019s Sauce: (<a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/arbys-sauce\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Homemade<\/a> or storebought)<\/strong> This tangy, savory sauce adds that signature Arby\u2019s flavor. You can make your own version or grab a bottle at the store.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deli Roast Beef:<\/strong> Thinly sliced roast beef is the main protein here.<\/li>\n<li><strong>American Cheese:<\/strong> Melty American cheese adds a classic cheesy element to these beef and cheddar sliders. Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese. You could also use <a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/cheese-sauce\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">cheese sauce<\/a>, which is what Arby\u2019s uses instead of actual cheddar cheese.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Melted Butter:<\/strong> Melted butter gets brushed onto the tops of the buns, creating a golden brown crust.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.target.com\/p\/minced-onion-2oz-good-38-gather-8482\/-\/A-77588028#lnk=sametab\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dried Onion Flakes<\/a>:<\/strong> A touch of onion flavor adds depth without overpowering the other ingredients. The flakes are added to the melted butter mixture.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dash of Poppyseeds:<\/strong> A sprinkle of poppyseeds on top of the beef &amp; cheddar sliders adds extra texture and also some nutty flavor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-homemade-beef-and-cheddar-sliders\">How to Make Homemade Beef and Cheddar Sliders<\/h2>\n<p>Homemade beef &amp; cheddar sliders that are just as good (if not better) than what you can get from Arby\u2019s! They\u2019re super easy to prepare and cook up in a flash.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Preheat Oven<\/strong>: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slice Rolls<\/strong>: Cut the rolls in half so you have a top and bottom piece. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Sauce<\/strong>: Spread the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/arbys-sauce\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Arby\u2019s sauce<\/a>\u00a0on the bottom half of the slider rolls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meat Layer:<\/strong> Add the sliced roast beef on top of the sauce in an even layer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cheese Layer:<\/strong> Add the cheese slices on top of the roast beef.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Top Bun<\/strong>: Place on the top half of the buns.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Butter Mixture<\/strong>: Add the butter to a small microwavable bowl. Heat until melted then mix in the onion flakes and poppyseeds. Brush the butter mixture over the buns using a basting brush.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bake<\/strong>: Cover the baking dish with foil then bake for 15 minutes. It\u2019s a family favorite! I\u2019ve added some tips and ideas below that you\u2019ll find helpful when making these sliders.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cheese:\u00a0<\/strong>Swapping out the cheese is an easy way to make these sliders feel different.\u00a0I used Kraft singles to recreate the melty cheese on the Arby\u2019s sliders, but any cheese that melts well will work great. Use shredded cheddar cheese if you don\u2019t love processed cheese. Put an extra layer of cheese underneath the meat for extra cheesy sliders if you like!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roast Beef<\/strong>:\u00a0Layer on that roast beef! That\u2019s how Arby\u2019s does it, so don\u2019t skimp on the meat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arby\u2019s Sauce:\u00a0<\/strong>Arby\u2019s now bottles and sells their yummy sauce at most grocery stores. If you don\u2019t have access to buying it then make my <a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/arbys-sauce\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">homemade<\/a> recipe! For a punch of flavor, you could also make some <a href=\"https:\/\/therecipecritic.com\/horseradish-sauce\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">horseradish sauce<\/a>, similar to Arby\u2019s horsey sauce!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dipping Sauce:\u00a0<\/strong>Serve extra sauce on the side for dipping!
