The Summer House<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>crew had another wild summer in the Hamptons in 2023 that changed some of their relationships forever. The Bravo reality show is returning for season 8 and viewers will witness the demise of Lindsay Hubbard\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Carl Radke<\/strong>\u2018s relationship<\/a>. The couple called off their engagement<\/a> in August 2023 \u2014 less than three months before their wedding \u2014 and cameras were rolling throughout the whole ordeal. Bravo never lets us down.<\/p>\n

Summer House <\/em>season 8 premieres February 22 at 9 pm ET on Bravo. Filming took place from July 2023 to early September 2023.<\/p>\n

Summer House\u00a0<\/em>Season 8 Cast<\/h2>\n

Lindsay, Carl, Amanda Batula<\/a><\/strong>, Kyle Cooke<\/a><\/strong>, Danielle Olivera<\/a><\/strong>, Paige DeSorbo<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Ciara Miller<\/strong><\/a>, and Gabby Prescod<\/strong> are back as main cast members. They\u2019re joined by newbies Jesse Solomon<\/strong> and West Wilson<\/strong>. Former main cast members Samantha Feher<\/strong><\/a>, Mya Allen <\/strong>and Chris Leoni<\/strong> are rumored to be making guest appearances. The same goes for season 6 alum Andrea Denver<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When Summer House <\/em>season 7 ended, Lindsay and Carl were at odds with almost the entire cast, including Lindsay\u2019s former bestie Danielle. However, most of the group seemed to make up while filming season 8, based on group pictures<\/a> that were taken throughout the summer. The same can\u2019t be said for Lindsay and Carl, who ultimately broke up towards the end of filming after getting engaged in August 2022.<\/p>\n

Sources told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>before Labor Day Weekend that the couple \u201cwere set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn\u2019t move forward with the wedding.\u201d A source told US Weekly<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that Lindsay \u201cwas 100 percent blindsided by the engagement being called off\u201d and has been \u201csurrounded by friends and family\u201d while dealing with Carl\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n

Carl confirmed he broke up with Lindsay<\/a> and that they canceled their planned wedding in Mexico in a letter to his family and friends that was obtained by PEOPLE<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThere have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding,\u201d Carl said in his letter. \u201cThe fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I\u2019m crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Lindsay broke her silence<\/a> on the split on September 14. \u201cI would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years<\/a>,\u201d she said in a statement on social media. \u201cThe last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life. My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I\u2019ve had a hard time making sense of it all \u2013 with no answers or closure on why. I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lindsay clarified that her and Carl\u2019s breakup \u201cwas not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first.\u201d She added, \u201cI have spent the last couple of weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not left my side, and have been picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout. I am still grieving and trying to process all that has happened, but I felt it was important to update you all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and support from my friends, family, cast mates, and all of you for carrying me through.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
