Larsa Pippen<\/strong><\/a>, 49, and Marcus Jordan<\/strong><\/a>, 33, have seemingly broken up after over one year of dating. Larsa sparked the split rumors on Sunday, February 11, when she unfollowed Michael Jordan<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s son on Instagram<\/a> and wiped all her posts with him from her feed. The Real Housewives of Miami<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>star also posted a Yes\/No poll on her Instagram Stories asking, \u201cShould your friends unfollow your ex.\u201d Their apparent breakup comes as they\u2019re both set to film The Traitors <\/em>season 2 reunion<\/a> in early March.<\/p>\n

A rep for Larsa Pippen did not respond to Hollywood Life\u2019s request for comment at the time of publication.<\/p>\n

Larsa and Marcus first sparked dating rumors in September 2022, when they were spotted grabbing lunch together. Although the twosome were seen together numerous times, they did not confirm<\/a> their relationship until January 2023 with an Instagram post. \u201c\u2714\ufe0fChecks over stripes\ud83c\udfc6,\u201d Larsa captioned the photo.<\/p>\n

Most fans were expecting the couple to get engaged, rather than seemingly break up. In August 2023, Marcus teased the couple\u2019s future nuptials. \u201cWe\u2019re looking for a location,\u201d Marcus responded to TMZ<\/em><\/a> when asked about the possibility of marriage. Larsa\u00a0was also seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger.<\/p>\n

The news of their relationship created instant controversy, due to the relationship between the Real Housewives of Miami<\/em>\u2018s ex-husband Scottie Pippen<\/strong><\/a> and Marcus\u2019 father Michael Jordan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Scottie and Michael were famously duos on the basketball court, where they played together on the Chicago Bulls in the 1980s and 1990s. But, in November 2021, Scottie spoke about Michael in his memoir<\/a>, Unguarded<\/em>, sharing he was \u201cupset\u201d that Michael didn\u2019t give enough recognition to their NBA history in his documentary, The Last Dance<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates,\u201d Scottie wrote. \u201cMichael deserved a large portion of the blame. The producers had granted him editorial control of the final product. The doc couldn\u2019t have been released otherwise. He was the leading man and the director.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March 2023, Larsa addressed the speculated beef and straightened out that the relationship between their families are just fine. \u201cI feel like \u2014 we\u2019ve spent holidays together and it\u2019s good. We\u2019re in a great place,\u201d she said on the Tamron Hall Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But, all of Larsa\u2019s claims went out the door when Michael was asked by paparazzi if he approves, and he responded with an astounding \u201cNo!\u201d which TMZ<\/em><\/a> caught on video.<\/p>\n

Following the released video of the NBA all-star, the couple responded. \u201cI didn\u2019t think it was funny,\u201d she said on an episode of her and Marcus\u2019<\/span> \u201cSeparation Anxiety\u201d<\/a> podcast. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing funny about it\u2026 <\/span>I was kind of embarrassed.\u201d Marcus has since claimed that he has spoken to his father and that he is okay with their relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
