Tichina also shared the origins of Alijah\u2019s unique and beautiful name, admitting that she\u2019d planned to have a boy named Elijah. \u201cI thought I was having a boy,\u201d she told the legendary comedian. \u201cSo when I found out I was having a girl, her dad was like, \u2018just change the E to a A. So it\u2019s Ah-lijah,\u201d she demonstrated the pronunciation.<\/p>\n

During her interview with Joan, she shared the meaning of the name Alijah Kai. \u201cSo it\u2019s \u2018powerful god,’\u201d she explained, hilariously adding that she \u201cwears my a** out.\u201d But even with the difficulties of parenting, she shared that having her daughter has been her most cherished achievement in life. \u201cMy greatest triumph: having my daughter,\u201d she said in a 2016 interview with Black Enterprise<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\nWhat is Alijah Currently Doing?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\nLike her mother, Alijah Kai is a performer.
